Premonition… a call from within sets the direction,
Points the way, solves the riddle, aids reflection.
Instinct, not for saving, but for surviving, or rather, life’s embracing.
Be it burning or igniting,
Let life blaze with fervor and flame,
Not mere existence by another name,
Refusing to play the mimic’s game.
For happiness beckons with its scent so sweet,
And towards it, I soar, miles with tireless beat.
I’ve absorbed you like parched earth drinks rain,
Greedily drawing your essence deep within,
Like a newborn drinks milk, pure and thin,
Your scent, indelible, no washing can drain,
No desperate scrubbing can cleanse its reign.
You’ve soaked through me, each pore you’ve graced,
Within me, a garden blooms, untamed,
Like the sky at sunset, vivid and braced.
